Sills

Our AluWood windows and doors come with a rain projection standard sill of 30mm and this can then be used within your predesigned reveals or it can include one of our sub sill sections which offer great options with various depths from 50mm all the way upto 380mm for passiv houses or deep walls.

To decide what sill type is ideal for your contact us to discuss your build, this may also include consulting your builder and architect as well as building control or NHBC/Zurich if you are unsure of your requirements.

We typically set the window frames back 20-30mm from the external brick face. Our excellent sub sills alow for a very simple finish between frame and brickwork. Below are some examples.
